The series of winter sports events “Experience Beijing”, comprising 10 international events, 3 international training weeks and 2 national tests, started on October 5. Held in Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou until the end of December, these test events provide a final opportunity for all relevant working groups to refine their work processes and systems ahead of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
As a major provider of professional communications technology for the event, Caltta facilitated the success of the first round of test games earlier this year. During the second set of test events, Caltta implemented a timely summary and review process to fully verify the optimal solution and planning for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
In order to ensure the stable operation and rapid troubleshooting of the system, real-time communication and effective staff collaboration during test events, Caltta sent a team of experts to set up a special on-site task force. . The site expert team performs daily equipment inspection, operation test and signal test to ensure the service is running smoothly; the team of mobile experts is responsible for monitoring the operation of the equipment at each site and resolving any problems with the group’s communication systems. At the same time, resident experts are working in the Technical Operations Center (TOC) for communications to monitor the whole process and the coordinated response of the site expert team and the construction team. mobile experts.
