iPad hardware issues

If you’re having trouble with your iPad, Apple Pencil, or keyboard, check out the Digital Wolf Pack Initiative Technology Knowledge Base Articles for some useful resources. If this information does not help you, you can try one of the following solutions:

AppleCare+ coverage for broken iPads

If your iPad, Apple Pencil, or keyboard physically breaks, AppleCare+ repairs can be made through Nevada Wolf Store located inside the Joe Crowley Student Union. The phone number for Wolf Shop is (775) 784-6597. You can also contact AppleCare for Education (800) 800-2775 option 3.

Your technology is covered by AppleCare+ coverage for manufacturing defects and accidental damage. This provides two repairs per calendar year for the first four years of AppleCare+. You will need to pay the $49 plus tax for the iPad repair and the $29 plus tax for the Apple Pencil or Keyboard. Visit the AppleCare+ coverage website for details.

Be sure to submit a ticket to the OIT Support Center to let them know about your iPad replacement, as this may affect your university-supported apps on the iPad.
