Neptune Energy Awards Technical Services Contract to TechnipFMC



Neptune Energy announced the award of a new contract to TechnipFMC for the provision of technical services in Norway.

The Technical Service Agreement (TSA) builds on an existing contract that has been optimized to meet Neptune’s future needs.

TechnipFMC will continue to provide a wide range of engineering, design and technical services to Neptune Energy. This includes installation work and operational support for Neptune’s development projects and production fields.

Projects and Engineering Manager of Neptune Energy in Norway, Erik Oppedal, said: “The extended contract will build on the experiences of the close collaboration over the past few years between Neptune and TechnipFMC, especially their contribution to the successful development of the Fenja, Duva plant operated by Neptune. and the Gjøa P1 fields.

Neptune Energy is the operator of the Gjøa platform in the North Sea, which currently serves as the hub for three subsea fields – Gjøa, Vega and Duva. A fourth field, Nova operated by WintershallDea, is to be tied for production later this summer. Neptune Energy also operates the Fenja development project in the Norwegian Sea.

The new contract came into effect on July 1, 2022 with a potential duration of 5 years and more.
