Salary of £ 43,000 to £ 45,000 depending on experience with an additional 10% car allowance.
Our client has a great opportunity for an experienced HV electrical engineer to join his client’s team in real estate and infrastructure in East Grinstead.

You will need to be an engineer with experience in producing detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, site surveys, schedules and other related documents.

You will have experience in using electrical engineering tools, such as computer-aided engineering and design software and equipment, to carry out responsibilities.

What you will do:

  • Carry out service and project related work on time and on budget.
  • Technical support for asset management.
  • Detailed design of HV engineering.
  • Concept and detailed study for the integration of new modularized traction substations in 25kV AC supply networks.
  • Design and technical support from specialist in earthing systems.
  • Direct current electric track equipment (DCE), including the design of conductor rails.
  • OLE design of power structures, foundations.

What the ideal candidate will look like:

  • Previous TFL / Network Rail experience
  • B.Sc. (in electrical engineering)
  • C.Eng. or work at
  • The SCADA RTU configuration works with the I / O diagrams of the red and green diagrams.
  • AC power modeling and system studies to perform load flow and SC circuit studies.
  • Simulate for electrical system modeling and electrical system studies.
  • Modeling of the reliability of the electrical system.
  • Modeling and evaluations of the harmonic profile.
  • AC protection studies to make the settings of the protection relays.
