Hamaton Appoints Technical Support Specialist in North America


TPMS Product Specialist Hamaton Inc. has announced the appointment of Nick Wheeker as Technical Support Specialist to help support the growth of the business.

Despite the global pandemic, the Michigan-based subsidiary of Hamaton Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. said it has had “an extremely successful year and is therefore expanding its team to provide additional customer support.”

Hamaton Inc.’s services include a TPMS technical support hotline, available seven days a week, for customers with product inquiries, from sensor installation to vehicle relearn procedures. Wheeker will work alongside a dedicated team to answer these calls and perform vehicle tests to ensure its sensor coverage is up to date. In this aspect of his role, Wheeker will learn firsthand how TPMS works in new vehicles. Not only will he be better equipped to advise accordingly, but he will also be able to share his knowledge with clients.

Growing up surrounded by family members who forged rewarding automotive careers sparked Wheeker’s interest in the industry at a very young age. Eager to follow in his family’s footsteps, he landed an internship at Yazaki Automotive. During his internship at the global auto parts supplier, Wheeker participated in data analysis and product validation.

Regarding his new role, Wheeker said, “I am very happy to join the Hamaton Inc. team. Joining a growing company in an industry that I love is a fantastic opportunity. I look forward to gaining hands-on TPMS experience and supporting our loyal customer base.
