The new CEO – who has 25 years of industry experience – will be supported by Charles Taylor’s leadership team, which is comprised of Chief Commercial Officer Shareen Minor, President of Engineering Corey Schrauben, Director and EVP David Perry, and CEO and EGA Energy Chuck Kiehr.
A member of Charles Taylor since 2018, Sophy helped lead the expansion of the company’s US real estate adjustment team – it was under her leadership that Charles Taylor experienced rapid growth in the US market. In a press release, Charles Taylor also noted that Sophy helped increase revenue for the U.S. fitting and technical services division eight-fold and expanded its capabilities to offer a suite of high-loss fitting solutions and averages in sectors such as property, casualty, cyber, marine, natural resources, engineering and environmental services.
Charles Taylor also said that under Sophy’s leadership, she saw a record number of new clients in 2021.
“The US management team has achieved incredible success in the US fitting and technical services market over the past several years. Cullen is an exceptional leader whose track record, market reputation and vision give me every confidence in our continued success in the months and years to come,” said Damian Ely, CEO of Charles Taylor Adjusting.
“During my time at Charles Taylor, I saw the company establish itself as a major force in the American market. And despite all that we have already been able to achieve in recent years, there are so many opportunities ahead of us,” commented Sophy. “I’m grateful to have the chance to lead our world-class team as we continue our growth journey, and it’s great to be able to get started right away.”
