AVION SOLUTIONS WINS “TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO THE FIXED WING PROJECT OFFICE (FWPO)” WORK ORDER CONTRACT

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama., March 31, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Avion Solutions is pleased to announce the award of an EXPRESS (Expedited Professional and Engineering Support Services) task order from the Army Contracting Command for Wing Project Office Engineering Support fixed price (FWPO) with a value of $44.3 million. As prime contractor, Avion has partnered with SAIC, Radiance, Intrepid, PPT and The Lockwood Group to support FWPO by providing centralized lifecycle management of the legacy fixed-wing aircraft system fleet and emerging from the army, including special electronic mission aircraft. (SEMA), transport aircraft systems (TA), aircraft systems for foreign military sales (FMS), quick reaction capability (QRC) aircraft systems and prototype systems of planes.
